The exhibition, ‘ten artists, one city: foundation to foundation’ curated by Cristina Figueroa, brings together ten artists from around the world who have taken part in the dc art foundation residency, founded by Cristina Chacón and Diego Uribe. Their works reflect a wide range of artistic practices and conceptual explorations: from ancestral traditions to technological glitches, from reflections on the abuse of power in society to the resilience of nature, abstraction, and beyond. Together, they offer a rich panorama of contemporary artistic discourse, where contrasts intertwine and unexpected dialogues emerge. The exhibition is not only a testament to the diversity of voices in contemporary art but also a celebration of the city of Miami as a stage where global creativity converges and flourishes.

Founded in 2021, the dc art foundation, based in Miami, Florida, offers an exclusive residency program for international mid-career and established artists from around the world, providing them a with a platform in Miami to showcase their work. Through its initiatives, the foundation encourages dialogue across disciplines, fosters cross-cultural exchange, and champions diverse voices that reflect the complexity of our contemporary world.
